"Our extended family enjoyed our stay. The house has a great set up. The downstairs game area with living room and kitchen was perfect for the young adults in our group. There was yard space for our Cornhole boards and we enjoyed the hot tub and giant connect four game. The house is on the river, but it is down a steep embankment (which is safely fenced) so it is not accessible. It is a lovely home that can accommodate many travelers comfortably. "

The game room in the basement was really fun for both kids and adults. The layout of the house made it easy for people to spread out. I felt the kitchen was well stocked with basics/appliances. "We had a great stay, and I would stay again. Great location, although not sure about how easy lake access is. We were there in the Fall for a wedding, and I did not try to get to the lake. Seems like it might be a long walk, or possibly a drive, but I am not certain. One thing I would say is that this home is a bit dated. Please don't misinterpret that. It's clean. "Great location for a friends getaway weekend! Plenty of room for our group of 4. Updated interior, clean, quiet neighborhood but close to downtown. We did not walk to town but it can be done (roughly 1 mile). Good communication with owner The only suggestion would be to additional seating in living area. "We rented both Blue Hill Farm and The Lakeview Lodge. They are not on the same street but have a short marked path between them for easy back-and-forth—even for kids. The houses are perfectly decorated but not overdone, so we didn't worry about fragile items with younger kids. EVERY single bed was a comfortable Tempurpedic, it was almost hard to go home!
