"What a fabulous find this was. Just a few mins out of town. There was building work going on but wasn’t disturbed by it as out all day. Lodge was fab, so clean, everything you need and the beds were so comfy. If I’m that way again I’ll definitely be booking Great communication all through. Thank you Karen. "

"Honestly, the photos do not do this place justice - it is much bigger and better! Our Hosts, John and Sam were very welcoming and useful guides. The place was clean, tidy and very relaxing, which is a must in these challenging times. Brilliant transport links to St Andrews and Dundee. Car parking is £1 for 24hours at Leuchars train station so this is handy for exploring Edinburgh and Glasgow. The accommodation was worth the money and we were delighted with our welcome pack. "We all had a great stay at Thistle Lodge. Very clean and well presented. The open plan lounge/dining/kitchen area was great for our family trip of 4 adults. A bonus was the outdoor gated patio, felt like a sense of security for our Labrador. Great base for exploring Perthshire. Will definitely return in the near future. "

"This is our second visit and we would highly recommend to anyone looking for a beautiful rural location. Perfect for outdoor loving families. The surroundings are stunning. We watched deer climbing the fellside each morning and horses in the field below. There views in all directions are spectacular. There is plenty of walking from the doorstep which is great for children and dogs. We received a lovely warm welcome from the owners who were nearby if needed."
