"We were visiting Glasgow for the weekend to celebrate our son's 21st birsthday. The hotel is made up of a series of stunning traditional Glaswegian style houses. Really friendly welcome at reception and we were shown to our bedrooms (we had booked 3). All really comfortable and ours (Madfish!) was very big. The L'Occitene bathroom products very nice and a full length bath. We had booked the Whisky Snug for our private dinner for 10 people and the staff could not have helped more - great service with a smile. The standard of the food was incredible - coupled with some nice wines. One interesting point was that for the cheese plate, we were taking to select our cheese and given information by a knowledable cheese man!. Breakfast the following morning was a choice of either buffet or a la carte - as good as the dinner! Thank you to the team (and Jade who I organised everything with but did not meet!). We will definitely stay again"

"Lovely hotel central to kelvingrove park west end and other way to city centre. Easily walkable or buses/tube available. Hotel is modern, looks to have been decorated recently, warm and quiet. Didn't try breakfast but smelt nice. Little noise outside at kicking out time expected but probably because we were at the front facing the road. Stayed for a family christening and parking was available when arrived and when returned on the street free weekends starts 8am Mon charging "

"The staff are nice and welcoming and the location is not really far from the city center I was lucky with the room as they give me nice spacious room but it was cold at nights as the heating was not working and I see similar many reviews about the heating problem too been cold.."

"Loved the beautiful historic building and area of this hotel! All the staff were wonderful, the room was nice and quiet. We enjoyed breakfast at the hotel in the morning and it’s in a lovely location close to The Botanical Gardens! We would stay here again!"
