An Amazing weekend in a barn!
The place was lovely and very accommodating. Will definitely miss waking up to the majestic view. Had a really good time and would definitely recommend.

Fantastic winter family getaway
Spacious and comfy converted barn surrounded by stunning farmland. The wood burner and farm fresh eggs were a bonus. The kids loved it too, would stay again.

Great stay
Host Jill was very accommodating with supplying eggs & setting up the fire ready to go, which we all enjoyed as it heated the whole house. Being close to Masterton we were able to take the 3 boys to the skate park (which is awesome) each day along with giving the paddle bots a go. Good location very central & cosy with everything you need.

Great little getaway
Lovely place to get away for weekend. Enough space for everyone. Fire was already lit when we arrived and fresh eggs in the fridge. Thank you. Cute touch with fresh flowers. Would stay again.

Great place for families
Our family loved staying at Green Barn. It was clean, comfortable and spacious and had everything we needed. Our kids loved the big outdoor space and having the sheep over the fence. Jill was a lovely host and made everything easy. We appreciated the fresh eggs too!

Excellent country stay
This is a great 2 bedroom place to stay. We enjoyed the Easter weekend there. It's close to Greytown, Masterton and Carterton. Our host was friendly and welcoming and the eggs were a lovely touch. We would definitely stay here again.

This was a great location to stay, peaceful with a country atmosphere and the Gladstone Inn just down the road. We had to travel to Carterton for Golf each day, and that was only a 10 to 15min drive. Jill was a great host, and even supplied us with a doz. eggs. A very cosy house to stay in.

A sunny retreat house in a farm setting
This was a sunny, homely retreat surrounded by fields. There were games for all ages, and lots of cosy spaces downstairs. It has two bedrooms, but because the babies fell sick while we were there, and woke crying during the night, we realised that they're more like one and a half bedrooms for sound. We would love to come back as a couple on our bicycles, or with the children when they're a bit older

Great little place to say!
When we arrived, we thought wow! It is very spacious and very clean. Love the beautiful green surroundings and the amenities the barn provided. Jillian was a good host, we stayed for 4 nights and she popped in twice, once to say hello and second time was to check if we wanted new towels, etc. I will definitely choose to stay again. Only suggestion I have is perhaps having a fan during the summer months as it can get quite hot and humid at night. Overall, the green barn is a neat place to stay 10/10.

Peace in the country.
Loved the Green Barn for my family of 4 adults and a three year old.. Its roomy with a cosy fire. Comfortable beds and lounge area. Had everything we needed for a relaxed two night stay in the country. It isnt an ultra flash place but we felt comfortable and relaxed. We will try to stay there again one day.

Lovely country retreat
Lovely area, quiet and peaceful while still close to Carterton and the Gladstone inn which is 2 mins up the road and lovely. Basic accommodation with not much in the way of food or supplies so come prepared. Nice fresh eggs in the fridge but no other food so be prepared. Beds are comfy but also be aware very tall people might struggle with the double which has a foot rail so my very tall husband slept in one of the singles. Nice and warm once we got the fire cranking.

Right in the heart of the Wairarapa
Really enjoyed staying in the Green Barn, easy drive to the main towns of the Wairarapa. Secluded location away from the farm but sheep & hill views, with comfortable beds, efficient wood burner and all the kitchen items needed. No Wifi was no problem. The children loved the upstairs bedrooms. Very close to the Gladstone Inn. Thank you Jill!

really lovely place to stay with a great view of the sheep and fresh eggs in the fridge. Clean and nicely presented without being to formal. Nice place to relax, plenty of places to visit. A bit of road noise but overall not to bad.
