"We did it, we braved the mid-winter waters then returned to a most beautiful warm house, to admire the spot where it all took place! Later that night we soaked in the outdoor bath, under a gorgeous starry night. No sign of Matariki in the early morning due to cloud but so fabulous that I could check from the comfort of my bed. Highly recommend this friendly warm and welcoming accommodation. Thank you!"

Barbaras property is in an awesome location, 5 min walk down to the beach for a morning stroll and right next to the estuary outlet for a wee fish (although no luck this time!), house was super warm, very clean and all the facilities required for a comfortable stay. thanks barbara"

"We decided as part of our trip to visit Riverton given we had met on a blind date there in the early eighties. The property was part of a larger house and quite separate from the hosts. It was perfectly setup with large main bedroom separate lounge area and bathroom. Debbie our host could not have been more helpful. Lovely view of the inner harbour. Easy vehicle parking on site and easy access with pin operated entry door. Excellent shower! Had a fantastic stay."

"Great location.Quirky wee cottage that possibly needs a bit of a joosh up.A new heat pump as was Abit chilly.Electric blanket we couldn't get to work in main rm and needs maybe Abit of a more thorough clean.Over all enjoyed our stay and it's a dear wee place.Doggy happy too"
