"I would have given a higher rating but we had to leave the breakfast table after waiting nearly half a hour for out hot food and on check out there was no real apology for this. The place is very lovely but staff were not overly friendly. Would probably from a senior person in charge. "

"We spent a wonderful week at the chateau. Even the rain on our first day couldn’t dampen our excitement and enjoyment of the property. The sun came out allowing us to make full use of everything the chateau has to offer. The pool and the grounds are beautiful. The dreamy interior fulfilled all of our expectations. "Perfect “post lockdown” stay. In a quiet and beautiful area of the Medoc the Chateau was perfect. Generous size for our party of 9. Massive garden with a lovely big pool. Inside all fittings and decor are high quality. The house had everything we needed. All communication with the manager was quick, helpful and accurate. Really can’t find anything to fault the property. Very relaxing stay. The area is quiet and very pretty surrounded by vineyards. 30 minutes to a range of surf and wild beaches...
