"Everything was great! The room was very nice,the lounge area was very nice, very clean. The restaurant waa nice and the breakfast options were.good. I already told my out of state family, this where they should be staying. I will go back. I took video but wish I had taken photos to share. "

"Everyone as so friendly (Thank you Sandy at front desk). The room was clean and quiet. Breakfast is waffles, yogurt, coffee. No complaints about my stay there and I will be staying often from now on when I am in town. "

"This was our first stop on a 14 hour journey from Florida to Virginia to find our forever home. We had no idea where we were going, ended up two and a half hours through the Western Virginia mountains ... In the dark... I'm the rain! But then thru the mountain mist, shown the Beautiful bright lights of The Gateway Motel! I would have loved to stay longer. The owner was amazing, friendly and inviting. The rooms were perfect, cozy and warm. The property is gorgeous with the running rapid Creek...

"Overall the place was beyond great from every aspect to me. Everything inside the room was new and looked great only issue was no shower curtain but wasn’t a deal breaker. Me and my nephew stayed there over the weekend to do atv trails in the town of Gilbert WV. Was a blast will definitely go back. Anyone looking to book don’t let outside appearance fool you it definitely is nice and comfortable along with it being affordable too. "

"We always stay at the Best Western when we come to visit our home town which is quite often and it’s always so clean and the staff is also very friendly to us any time and go out of there way to help us in any way they can I would definitely recommend anyone to give this place a try! Also the beds are super comfortable you will sleep like you are in your own bed! That’s a plus right there!!! It’s also the cheapest too! "

"It’s at the perfect location and it’s very clean and has a huge parking lot to pull around and park and your 2 minutes from some nice restaurants to eat at and good trails all around it even one on the other side the street. Will definitely be back"
