"We thoroughly enjoyed our week long stay at Podere Consani despite the weather not always being cooperative during our stay. The location was very quiet and had beautiful views. It was only a 12 to15 min. drive to the centre of Lucca. Susan was prompt at communication and was attentive to any needs we had on our visit. We enjoyed being able to see the olives being harvested. "What a shame, the entire region of Pescia is beautiful but everything at this cottage is awful. Its totally bizarre and weird and so so dirty. Honestly i doubt the place has ever been dusted once which is just disgusting. The shower curtain was full of mould.. bugs everywhere it was a literal disaster, not any normal persons idea of a vacation. "we stayed in this house for 2 weeks - working remotely, hiking, riding the 2 bicycles that were waiting for us, going to Lucca for dinner and more. the house is small but comfortable for 2 people, the bedroom is great. the kitchen is not big but it has all the things we needed.
