"Southern Hospitality is real. The property was great but the hosts were even better. They lived in the neighborhood and came by to fry up some fresh southern foods. Soft shell crab, catfish and shrimp as well as an authentic crab boil with crab fresh off the boat. The accomodations were excellent, juke box had all the songs we looked for, pool table was well kept. They even lent us some fishing poles and tackle, caught some crappie and bass right off the dock. "The pictures are accurate and the front porch was perfect for sitting and drinking coffee! This property is very clean, centrally located in the middle of Houma. The was plenty of room for our family to spread out and enjoy our time there. The only issue we had was that there is so much going on in Houma during Mardi Gras we had problems getting back to the house because of the parades.. Thanks for a great stay. If we make it back that way we will book again!"

"My oldest son wanted to come fishing for his bachelor party weekend. Although the fishing was difficult due to weather, the house was very comfortable and exactly as described. The guys tried the crab traps, fished, and kayaked in the bayou. It was comfortable for everyone to stay and enjoy some guy time together. Thank you for sharing your house with us. "

"Home was super clean and well stocked with everything you could need. Angela was in contact with us almost immediately after booking and throughout the entire stay. The property is located in a great neighborhood and has a nice area outside to sit and enjoy the weather. The home is also located near lots of great restaurants. Perfect for our trip. "

"Location and house was great. The house was very clean, located far from the street and it sits on a very large property. It’s an older home but is updated and really cute. The tub didn’t work as well for us since we had young children … it’s a walk in tub for handicapped. "
