Loverly hosts who provided us with a snack for the airport due to our early departure. "This property was exactly what my son and I were looking for - small hotel to use as a base. Hotel was spotless. Friendly staff, always saying hello. Have to give a huge shout out to Mohammed, always on the desk, was absolutely wonderful from the first meeting. If you needed something you just ask and he will do his best to help. Also a wee mention to the shop down the stairs, very friendly staff"

"We had the most wonderful time and thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Matias B&B on the beautiful island of Gozo. Breakfast was amazing with fresh local sweets and bread in addition to cooked to order. "Apartment was very nice. The fort is mostly a disaster area. No renovations have been done for 30 years. A new developer has come forward with another plan so it will be interesting if it ever happens. Pool is enormous. I was the only one in it but we were here early May. Eat at Rexys. Great food. We only had their pizzas and dessert. Area is isolated so Bolt will be required to get to other restaurants. Near Mgarr harbour. I would recommend the island and even the Fort if you desire...

"Lovely clean apartment, well equiped for self catering. We did book breakfast but the buffet restaurant closed due to being out of season. However the staff brought breakfast to order every morning to our room, which was lovely. I asked for an extra blanket (before we worked the heating out) which was delivered promptly. Nothing was to much trouble. Bars and restaurants all close by. "
