A little away from the usual tourist areas, St Maria di Licodia is an ideal location for exploring Etna and travelling into Catania or Taormina though you will need a car. The team at Hotel Ristorante Paradise are very welcoming and genuinely make the effort to ensure you have a wonderful stay."

"This is a funky little bed and breakfast in a very weird neighborhood. The bed and breakfast itself was beautifully equipped and furnished in a very fun way. We enjoyed our stay very much. We happened to get there late at night so driving through the neighborhood was a little bit iffy for us, but the next morning we walked to breakfast and all was well."

"This was a very cool property with tons of charm. We loved the facility and grounds and it was so close to the airport, yet had beautiful views making it feel in the countryside. The only downside was probably our dinner experience. We were there during off season so there was only one other diner for dinner in the large dining area with semi private, really cool romantic areas for tables, yet we were seated right next to the other diner and about half way through dinner the music stopped, making it so quiet that any slight noise echoed. We felt we couldn’t even have a conversation because it was so awkwardly quiet. The service was also just not there and it didn’t feel right asking for things, like to have a more private table, have music, a little heat... But with that said, the food was very good, the staff (including our server) was very nice and the overall experience was excellent. Breakfast was also a nice bonus."
