"We had a splendid stay. The house was just as described. All amenities described were provided. The owner, Filipe, is very responsive and helpful with any questions. We had no issues. We enjoyed the peacefulness yet close to town. As for the driveway from precious comments, yes it is steep, but we had no issues at all! We followed Felipe’s advice and we were fine."

The host, Virginia, is warm and welcoming, offering helpful local tips. "The views from this place of the mountains were spectacular. Very quiet and peaceful. The above ground pool was welcome in the heat wave. Large fridge was handy. Lots of fruit trees in the yard and no mosquitoes in August! The neighbourhood is very traditional, including very narrow roads with stone walls on the way in. If you have a large car, you'll have to pull the mirrors in and hope you don't meet another car. There is a good pizza shop within walking distance and a beautiful bar that...

"This guy needs to communicate with guests better. I requested how to get in the day before, then twice the morning of my arrival. I didn't hear from him until 2:30 pm and check in was at 3. I was in Braga at that point and had to go wait in a cafe until I got his email. (It was raining) When I showed up at the place, a couple was outside trying to get in. Then later, after I returned around 8 pm, another couple was outside who couldn't get in. I let them in."
