"Belle villa passive. Tout confort et très propre. Mise à disposition du nécessaire de base : produit vaisselle, papier WC., huile, vinaigre,sel.... Maison convenant pour 6 personnes. Par contre , les lits jumeaux conviennent mieux à des enfants qu'aux adultes . Ce sont des lits tiroirs donc pas très confortables. Proche de sites touristiques. Nous vous recommandons cette maison pour vos futures vacances dans la forêt noire. "

"Caren & Michaels place was fantastic, such a lovely house with everything you could possibly need. We stayed for a few days over Christmas and it was exactly what we were looking for, a quiet and calm area close to nature.The hosts were lovely, and were there to support if you needed anything. They even came by and with some Christmas snacks and Gluhwein on Christmas eve, which made us feel very welcome. Would highly recommend!"

Easy to get to, easy to travel to neighboring areas with sites we wanted to explore, and the perfect respite after adventuresome days. I rented both units so we stayed in 1 and our other family stayed in 2. It was great to each have our own space for resting, but be right next door for communal dining and hanging out. "This property is beautiful and the location is perfect for exploring the Black Forest. We did experience a couple of challenges, but the host was fantastic and did everything he could to put things right and quickly. It is very isolated here, so no nipping to the shop, but it’s exactly what we wanted. Kids would love it here. So much for them to do. Thank you for a lovely stay."

"The pictures do not do this place justice. The owners are wonderful, the available amenities excellent and the property caters to everything we wanted. Everything was spotless, and as a group of 7, there is loads of room for everyone. We really cannot rate this property and the owners highly enough. We will be looking to rebook in the future."

"This is a perfect holiday location....the apartment has everything you need & was spotlessly clean. Gengenbach is probably the prettiest town we saw in the Black Forest & a fantastic base to explore the region. We stayed 11 nights & used the train on the Konus card scheme every day bar 1.....great for taking the stress away & having a German beer or 2! Anja was fantastic in welcoming us & giving lots of tips on where to eat etc....she was always at the end of the phone if we had a question....

"Location of the property is perfect. Walking into town, local restaurants, museums, town square is wonderful. Train station was very close - was an easy 45 ride to Strausburg, France. Grocery store 5 minutes away. Kitchen had everything you need to make meals. Outside patio and upstairs balconies were very cozy. Beds comfortable. We brought our own Firestick for the TV so we would have access to English shows. Easy install. Any directions left by the owners were in German but with Google Lens we...
