"Das Apartment ( wir hatten Nummer fünf) wurde wirklich sehr hochwertig erneuert. Ein tolles Bad, die bemalten Wände wirklich sehenswert. Auch die Isolation im Dachgeschoss musste wirklich hervorragend gelöst sein, denn bei über 30° Außentemperatur heizte sich das Zimmer nicht auf. Leider war die Kücheneinrichtung sehr minimalistisch. Ein kleiner Kochtopf ohne Deckel, eine kleine Pfanne, keine Schüssel kein Brotmesser, kein Flaschenöffner und so weiter. Wer nur Kaffee trinkt und sich ein Brötchen...

"I was in Strasbourg for work. The location was ideal being one stop on the tram from the train station and then of course allowing me to get most anywhere I needed from there. The host was super as I was met at the gate and then shown the space. It was very well appointed, quiet, private, close enough to a smaller market for shopping. All in all a wonderfull stay."

"The location is perfect for walking around the old town and petit France. Lots of reasonably priced restaurants and bars literally on your doorstep. There is no elevator so pack light as you need to climb many steps. The apartment is enormous and has every convenience you need. The apartment appears to be very clean but needs improvement in this area. Overalll I would recommend this to anyone looking to stay a few nights in Strasbourg "

"We liked our stay in Strasbourg and this place, although not in city center was close enough to walk to train and city center. Good place to travel out from for day trips. Kitchen had enough for what we needed (breakfast & coffee) and beds were comfortable. We didn't have cell service so getting access and keys was a bit tricky with the need to call for access to the building in order to gain access to the keys in an inside lockbox, but we managed."

"Property better than expected. I am not a smoker so was concerned there would be a smell of cigarettes, but there was not. Apartment is on top floor and has two great terraces. Tram stop into Strasbourg was very close. We used the trams lot and also walked in a few times. The centre was a very pleasant 4km flat walk. Would stay again"

The only comment I have is that we didn’t anticipate such steep stairs - my 76 year old Mom was with us and the stairs were a bit challenging for her. "This is a perfect holiday location....the apartment has everything you need & was spotlessly clean. Gengenbach is probably the prettiest town we saw in the Black Forest & a fantastic base to explore the region. We stayed 11 nights & used the train on the Konus card scheme every day bar 1.....great for taking the stress away & having a German beer or 2! Anja was fantastic in welcoming us & giving lots of tips on where to eat etc....she was always at the end of the phone if we had a question....

"A simple accommodation facility 13-15 min walk from the center and train station of Strasbourg. Cleaning maybe once every few days. The room has a stove, fridge, dishes, kettle, tea and instant coffee. The rooms are rather tired. Sometimes it can be noisy as the rooms are not soundproofed."
