This cozy cottage is perfect for a couples getaway! This lakeside property has a game room, outdoor grill, fire pit, and kayaks. It is also located on the Seneca Lake wine trail just minutes from some of the best wineries and breweries the Finger Lakes has to offer! Treat your better half to a special Finger Lakes vacation!

The Space:
This cozy cottage offers 1 bedroom with a queen size bed, 1 bathroom (with a shower only), a nice sized living space and kitchenette (NO STOVE, but we do have a toaster oven/air fryer and electric skillet), A/C and blackout curtains. Enjoy all your favorite shows with smart TVs in both the living room and bedroom, and get competitive with indoor cards games, outdoor lawn games, and the brand new game room! Inside the garage you will the game room with ping pong, PAC-MAN, air hockey, and foosball! (This space is available 10:30am - 9:00pm and is shared with the main house Cast Away.) Don't forget to grill up some of you favorites (propane provided) and sit by the fire pit sipping some local FLX wines. Although this is a separate structure from the host's main house, cottage guests have dock and lake access. Spend your mornings sipping complimentary coffee while watching the sunrise or take out the kayaks for a beautiful day on the lake!

Not only can you enjoy the lake, but the cottage is conveniently located in the heart of the Seneca Lake Wine Trail, and is close to many award winning wineries and breweries. It is also very close to downtown Geneva with amazing local shops, eateries, cocktail bars and lounges.

Guest Access:
The cottage shares the the property with the main house, therefore it has a shared dock.

The Neighborhood:
The Cottage is conveniently located 10 minutes outside Downtown Geneva. The property is surround by many wineries, breweries and eateries such as The Belhurst Castle, Ports Cafe, Billsboro Winery, and Twisted Rail Brewing Company. The Cottage is also 5 minutes from Roys Marina, within 10 minutes of Hobart William Smith, and 10 minutes from the Smith Opera House.

Getting Around:
Driving is the easiest way to get around. We have Uber, many wine touring options and local taxis.

Other Things to Note:
This property can be rented in conjunction with the main Cast Away property to sleep up to 10 people in total, and then have the dock and game room only for your guests.

Neighbors live here all year long, please be respectful of them. The town has an ordinance of quiet hours, between 10pm -7am, it is enforced.

The town ordinance, only allows 1 car to be parked in the driveway.

Boats cannot be docked at the property

Our Train/RR crossing: we love our trains & barely notice/hear them. They pass infrequently (~1-2/24 hours), are short (<2 min), & have no regular schedule. They are not required to blow their horn @ crossings, so please be careful to stop and look both ways whenever crossing the tracks!

Interaction with Guests:
Host lives close by, if needed in an emergency.
