"A wonderfully located mezzanine flat. The flat is very stylishly decorated and had all the amenities we needed, with a lovely bathroom. The location is perfect, very central and right off a main street. We couldn't hear anything and we slept with the windows open. Just to be aware for other guests, the stairs are quite steep and the bedrooms are connected, is essentially a studio flat with two mezzanine levels. The toilet is separate to the bathroom. "

"Absolutely top rate hosts. We had an issue with our rental car. They came and picked us up off a busy motorway. They helped us contact a breakdown service as we could not contact Avis. The car had to be towed. Then it took all the next morning trying to work out the next step. They tried so hard on our behalf. The property is white and set off the road in a park like setting. Very considered; designer interior including toiletries and discreet candles etc The room, especially the wallpaper...

"Garden and pool were lovely, as was landlady. The house was in a residential area , about a mile from public transport links and about 4 miles outside Lille. This was like a family home with a family atmosphere provided by Isabelle who made us a lovely breakfast every morning. "

The stairs are steep, the wc is off the living room / kitchen and the breakfast of bread and pastries is delivered to the property each morning. The host was friendly and helpful and the accommodation fully suited our needs. We would certainly return."

"Le Château - Fresnoy en Gohelle was a dream experience. The owner clearly loves this home and takes pride in sharing with others. It was like we had our own home all to ourselves. The ground were stunning, decorations incredible, breakfast was wonderful, and the owner treated us with kindness and respect. This was one of best experiences while on our 12 day France vacation."
