"Three days before leaving the UK we were contacted by the owner's agent saying we had to leave a large € deposit (now increased). I offered a credit card but they would only accept a cheque or cash. Appealed to owner who agreed to reduce but still had to leave a large amount in cash. Owner pointed out it was in his conditions. Accommodating 2 families (10 people in total) .. minor inconvenience being having to make up the beds on arrival after a long journey , the quality of the linen did not match the high standard expected for the money spent on renting the property.. also a a lack of towels despite being listed in inventory .. .. However we would all return to this...
