"This hotel building, carved into the stone, survived the 1693 earthquake and is over seven hundred years old. Josepi, on his second day at work, was an enormous help in parking my car, which was a midsize MG SUV. He went over and above what was expected. Breakfast was a joy with great staff, that would make you coffee exactly how I wanted it and kept it coming without having to ask. Sparkling wine awaited you in the cavern-like separate sitting area upon arrival after a stressful drive, before checking in. Linda and Eugenio gave us incredible service making reservations at restaurants for us and advice on visiting Modica, Scicli, and Ragusa. Linda phoned a restaurant for me when I thought that I had left my hat behind. The atmosphere of the hotel more than made up for the somewhat tight quarters of our room which could be accessed from the street, or by going up a spiral staircase cut int0 the stone behind the front desk. Service at it’s finest."

"What a gem Terra del sole Ibla B&B is within the crown of Ragusa. Nanni, the owner warmly welcomes you and assists with finding free parking, before showing you to your room. We had Room 3 which was delightful with a super comfortable bed, pillows, and amenities such as coffee, toothbrushes, body lotion, etc. The shower was spacious and had great water pressure. But the real treat of staying in this room is the magnificent views of Ragusa Ibla from your private balcony. They are even better than the views at all the popular panoramic spots around town. This is a bed and breakfast and the breakfast was fabulous! Ricotta and Pistachio filled croissants, fresh fruit, pomegranate juice, cereal, and several types of Sicilian savory baked delights. We had so much to eat at breakfast we could not fit in lunch at the wonderful seaside town Nanni had recommend we visit! Do yourself a favor and book this place to stay during your time in Ragusa. This place has great hospitality and incredible value for money."

"Great surprise! Wonderful hotel built on original historic architecture in the center of town. We arrived late but were greeted so well by Michel. He was very helpful as were the other staff at the front desk. Highly recommended. Can't wait to go back! Oh yes, and lovely breakfast space."
