"This is an affordable, practical solution for a longer stay and should be accepted as such. Having said that, the suite had a useful kitchen with multiple burners, coffee pot, toaster and electric kettle as well as minimal cutlery and kitchen gear. Recent rehabs and nice materials and tidy bathroom, kitchenette, furnishings were nice. Super location! Quiet sidestreet with boulangeries, groceries, restaurants and the train station within minutes. The vibe is university student hostel, but even...

"The picture online shows a clean, attractive little sleeping area; it doesn't show the huge bathroom, the table, the kitchen area with refrigerator, stove, and microwave (plus dishes in the cabinets), or the French doors offering a view outside. Or the air conditioner, which worked very well during a very hot part of the summer. Or the host, who was most kind and helpful."

"About 10 minutes to the train station anhalf that to the tram. Lots of options for dining. Did not try the restaurant other than for a beer and frys... which were very good. We could not be happier with our stay. Room was modern and good size, bed was great. Bath also modern wirh nice walk in shower and heated towel bar.. Big party, music fest on the island our last night. Heavy modern windows. We didn't hear any of it when we went to sleep. Cathedral with Astronomical clock. Lots to do off the island too. EU headquarters, University/observatory, walk along the canel etc. As I write this we have been to 5 different stops in france: this was our second. All interesting but it's the people that stand out. Very helpful, kind and friendly... even when we took the wrong train... another story. "
