"The property is a very nice 11Century building and is maintained impeccably BUT all should know the bathrooms are small, so small the shower head hangs from the ceiling and the drain is in the middle of the floor beneath it. There is a room that has no personal bath it is down the hall but has a regular shower"

"This was the place to be for a relaxing short break in Tuscany. We stayed for two nights in this little borgo ( medieval village), surrounded by a few houses and a church. The place is in the middle of nowhere, just like we wanted! The room was modern and had all we needed. I booked a Luxury Room, Balcony, Courtyard View. The balcony was just outside the bedroom and had a lovely view. The ensuite bathroom was a good size, toiletries and towels. The rooms were clean and welcoming. Breakfast...

"This is a beautiful, but old building, with spacious rooms, a and high ceilings. But it is dark. Only one window that does not let in much light. So used our lights a lot. The property is in Trastevere, which is popular and busy, but our room was really quiet. The front desk/proprietor was extremely helpful in making a restaurant reservation and booking a car to the airport."

"We didn't get the e-mail with the codes to the doors. The wifi doesn't connect to the internet. Our room wasn't cleaned during our stay. The place lokks abandoned from the inside. The room wasclean when we arrived. The inside of the place looks nice. "

"The manager Ada was amazing. We had fabulous communication from her, great restaurant ideas, she helped us with parking and the rental car. The property is very conveniently located. I would definitely stay there again."

"Nice, clean room with updated features. The shower is small with just a curtain and the sink was draining slow. But a nice place of overnight, especially for the price. WARNING: there are limited hours when you can get in so make sure you check on when someone is there to provide access."

"The host is excellent, the property is wonderful, spacious parking for six vehicles inside an anient iron and brick fence, ancient house with gorgeous and spacious interior, high ceilings, balcony with a spectacular view of the Tuscany countryside, and a fourteen minute drive from paid parking in the historic city center of Siena. Unbelievably, incredibly wonderful place! Wish I could have stayed for longer. "

"We had 8 people and we stayed in the Pallazo and found this to be a fantastic experience in a great gem of the city. Marcia was an excellent host and the accommodations which are in a building from 1132 were magnificent. I highly recommend this place."

"The service at this hotel was impeccable. We were running late for our wine tasting but they were still SO accommodating! The rooms were beautiful and the view from the hotel are amazing. It was super accessible to everything. Also, the parking options were great - highly recommend. They're so responsive through texting and it was great to have this level of service. Highly rec! "

We enjoyed our stay very much.

"We had an excellent 4-night stay at Hotel Italia. We were particularly impressed by the friendliness, helpfulness, efficiency of the staff - desk, breakfast room, cleaning service. Our room was clean and well-kept. All the facilities worked well: shower temperature and pressure, heating, lights, tea kettle, refrigerator. The beds were standard European firmness. The bedding was cozy. Breakfast was a delicious spread, with lots to choose from. The Hotel is just a few minutes walk from the train station, and an easy walk to the historic district. We highly recommend Hotel Italia."
