"True to the name, a beautiful mountain top view. Cottage was clean, well kept and cozy. The jetted tub was a lovely surprise!! It snowed making the stay even more wonderful. God is good all the time!!"

"Really nice little house, kitchen well stocked, trails are up and down the mountain (be prepared for that). Comfortable beds, clean linens and towels. Very happy staying there."

"I traveled with my family (husband, two kids and the grand parents). Overall the property was very nice and clean. 4 bedrooms, two bathrooms so lots of space. Bathrooms are different. 4 rooms side by side, toilets in a separate room as the showers. There are pros and cons to this place. -First off it is a shared property. Very nice built basement (owner on the top part). That is not a problem, but it is not listed that way in the description and definitely should be. It appears as your renting...

Overlooked

"What a nice find. We've been to West Virginia for years with family roots. When this property showed up or Hotels.com, it was a pleasant surprise. Very quaint and cozy on a quiet street on the banks of the Elk River in Braxton Co., WV. Called to check on us as we were running late, offered to hold the Cafe open for dinner. Escorted to your room. The history of it's old period construction with new touches is really cool. Bed comfy, quiet night. We intend to stay again. "

"The hotel was very nice and in good condition. Lovely views. Pleasant and helpful staff. Only downside was not getting the ice and snow off the parking lot, but it’s probably harder this far south. "

"Our stay was lovely. We had an extremely clean and spacious room. Each staff member was exceptionally friendly, helpful, and went above and beyond to make us feel welcomed. It is not fancy but is an excellent value for the price, and I would stay here again in a heartbeat simply because of the friendly, welcoming vibe. "
