"Our host Pietro was very welcoming and provided us with lots of information. The accommodation was clean and provided lots of room for 5 ladies (thankful for 2 bathrooms). Location was perfect, within walking distance of the old town of Matera. Lots of privacy and parking available. If we ever get back to the enchanting city of Matera would definitely stay here again."

"Wow this is a fantastic property. Everything is super clean and has been recently remodeled which was a plus. The location was so good! So many great restaurants and bars that were all walking distance. It’s right in the old town so the history surrounding the apartment was amazing. Check in was so smooth and the hosts were so kind. They answered all our questions quickly and were so accommodating to all our needs. I would love to stay again on our next visit. Highly recommend this place!"

"Thymus Residence is a unique and charming hotel. The hostess met us with a warm welcome and the hotel was exactly as we imagined - a charming, high end, cave experience. In the heart of the Sassi and close walking distance to one-of-a-kind sites. The rooms were very nice, the food delicious. I would definitely stay again!!"
