Found slugs in basement where two bedrooms were located. Water dripped out of the ceiling onto kitchen counter. Dirty inside cabinets, drawers etc. no where near worth the amount per night. "We stayed at the home while getting our son settled in as a freshman at Virginia Tech and also spent some time enjoying the area. It's an older building in a rustic setting, but the home has been updated and we found it to be clean and comfortable. The nearby creek is lovely. We enjoyed our stay and would stay here again."

"Cozy, neat and perfect location for recent AT section hike. Great for slack packing days around McAfee Knob and Dragon’s Tooth trail attractions. Playground in town was perfect for the grandkids play time. Close enough to enjoy the amenities of Daleville, Troutville and Roanoke. Only detractions were the lack of immediate food options in Catawba and the obstructive view of the oncoming traffic from the driveway. "

"Dirty, stink bugs everywhere!!!!! Needs updating especially considering the price. Never again. Lights don’t work. Windows and doors don’t fit and are hard to operate. Again stick bugs everywhere!!!! Had planned a brunch for the grandchildren but had to cancel because the place was a disaster. I am pretty laid back but this was awful."
