"This bed and breakfast is a real gem.....not far from the towns of Newcastle and Orono. It is peaceful.....surrounded by nature and a beautiful natural waterfall. Breakfast was plentiful and individualized ....I was made to feel at home. I would recommend for a person, couple, group who want a tranquil restful stay. "I hesitated to write a review b/c there are a number of criticisms but then I noticed that this host doesn’t have any reviews yet so maybe these can be constructive. Our host was very friendly and welcoming. We enjoyed: very good, cold fridge;very good shower with hand held option; shelves plus hooks in the washroom, so there was someplace to put our toiletries, drinking water & two glasses on one side of the bed.No coffee maker or kettle; no means by which to wash the dishes that were provided...

"Susan hosted a great stay for my wife and I over four days. The house and room were tidy, and the breakfast offerings were the best bar none. The front porch overlooked a well-manicured lawn on a very quiet street. Susan gave us some history of the area and pointed out stores and restaurants in the area. We were never disappointed. This was a first visit for us to this area and we hope that we can visit Susan again next year. "
