"We stayed one night at The Brantwood and it is one of a large number of small guest houses in Torquay. The property is a bit shabby in places but all the important details were taken care of. Lovely hospitable host, comfy bed, quiet location yet walking distance to town, tasty breakfast and easy parking. We will definitely be back !"

" Overall this nice little BnB is very good. The hostess is very friendly and helpful with local sights etc. Unfortunately our stay was spoilt by a very uncomfortable mattress.There was a slant to the room which caused feet higher than head. Had to move around bedding and place cushions under mattress, but still could not sleep. The curtains were too thin, so at 530am the room was very bright. We booked for 3 nights, but left after 2 due to lack of sleep."

"We stayed in Heathcliff House for a couple nights in August and had a very pleasant stay. Alex and Stacey were both really welcoming and the breakfast was lovely which catered for vegetarians (a huge factor for me!). The car park was also a bonus for us, however the beach and town centre were both in walking distance and public transport very close by too. Would definitely stay again and recommend to anybody looking for somewhere to stay in Torquay 😊"

"We loved our time at Autumn Rose. The cottage was a short walk away from Churston Cove and Fishcombe Cove, two lovely and secluded beaches, reached via a delightful woody path. Seals also made their hellos — a magical moment for the family. It was a perfect getaway for our little family—and for wonderful value. Will definitely consider staying again. Recommendation: if you do not have a car but need a taxi, book with Brixham Taxis and do so in advance. Bus system very straightforward and...

"Lovely apartment with everything you need. Gorgeous views across the harbour. Netflix and prime also provided for cosy night in. Harbour and marina approx 10 min walk. Lovely hosts, nothing too much trouble. Bed super comfy, it normally takes me ages to get a good sleep somewhere new, but not here! We would definately come again! "
