"This home could not have been more perfect! We got married yesterday in Churchville MD and needed a place to stay for the weekend for our big event and we couldn’t have been any more pleased with this home. It was definitely a beautiful, one of kind, comfortable home away from home ☺️ if we ever are in this area again, we would definitely book this home if available. Thank you Mr. John for having us! "We had a terrific family weekend at this lovely, historic home. The house was perfect for our extended family with multiple adult couples, an 11 month old baby, and two dogs. The property is VERY child friendly with a crib, high chair, and lovely library of children's books, and the pool area was perfect for lazy afternoons. Kitchen is well stocked and very functional, and the house is a short drive to Chestertown and lots of great local seafood. Would strongly recommend."

"From the moment we entered the property the relaxation began!! The location and history of the area was interesting. The rooms were comfortable and homey. The screened porch was the central space and the reading knook was never empty. All enjoyed kayaking and paddle boarding in the calm river water. All agreed we would like to revisit the property again. Communication with the owners was prompt and courteous. Thank you"

"We had a nice visit to this beautiful, waterfront home, and appreciated the host very much. The views from the beach were lovely. Unfortunately, we were woken several times overnight one night by ships’ foghorns as they passed by- every few hours. Even the white noise machines (a thoughtful touch) didn’t help. Not sure how to predict when the ships come through, but we slept soundly the second of our two nights there. The area is otherwise very quiet- we barely saw anyone else around. The...
