"To get to the hotel, you need a water taxi that costs a dollar per person each way. If you leave twice a day towards the city, you should consider an additional $4 per person per day. The courtesy of the hotel receptionists is evident and noteworthy. The breakfast is reasonable. There is not much choice, but you will not leave hungry. The room itself is spacious, clean and quiet. "First time in Galapagos and the staff and management at the Indigo made it the most amazing trip. They were very helpful in booking different activities and restaurants. The staff also made great drinks and food was excellent at the hotel. It is by far the most luxurious option in Galapagos. While some write about it being a higher price point, it is fully worth it for the level of service, cleanness of rooms, quality of food and hotel. "Owner’s son operates the hotel and is so nice and helpful. Gave us restaurant recommendations that were great. When we needed to leave before breakfast, he got up early to make us coffee and provided us with boxed lunch. Very happy with our stay at Maidith Galapagos Inn! "

"We had a lovely 2 nights at the hotel. We are sailing the world arc so it was a treat to have a large shower and a bed that didnt rock. The staff were so kind and allowed us extra time to check out. I would definately recommend this hotel in Isabela, Galapagos"

"We loved our stay here. It is on the edge of the small town, but easily walkable to everything including a sunset bar that was awesome. I assume it was not coincidentally named Iguana Crossing, but it is literally located at a point where iguana after iguana cross the road. The views from our room and the pool were unbelievable and the wildlife that literally walks in the lobby is amazing. Staff was incredibly friendly and helpful."

"Max and Lourdes were amazing hosts who couldn’t do enough to help. On booking they sent out additional information regarding tours and Santa Cruz. They were always ready to answer questions or to recommend places. They have even gone to the trouble of making videos to explain how to catch the ferry etc. which is very reassuring when you have no idea what to expect. "The hotel was on the water, steps from the pier. Great location. Our room and property were clean. A nice touch: the property allows guests to use a refrigerator (although, locked overnight), and they have a refillable water station. I thought the staff were extremely nice during breakfast and when asking questions about the area. "
