Situated on a natural terrace overlooking the last stretch of the Salento coast, the "Lu Restu" pajara (typical construction) enjoys a wonderful sea view and a small private pine forest that offers coolness on hot summer afternoons. Construction completely covered in stone, recalls the architectural style of the typical "pajare" that characterize the Salento landscape. It fits harmoniously into the surrounding naturalistic context, it is immersed in an uncontaminated Mediterranean scrub among olive trees, pines, mastic trees, myrtles, figs, caper plants and wild fennel ... all in the large private garden (about 3000 square meters). levels bordered by typical dry stone walls. Far from the noise, it is easily reachable along the road that leads from Otranto to Santa Maria di Leuca (from which it is just 2 km away). The property is accessed through the large iron gate, the brick path leads to the large porch, on one side used as a shaded parking area and on the other equipped for outdoor dining and enjoying the suggestive panorama. A little further on, two comfortable chaise lounges, located in the adjacent pitch, allow you to enjoy the sun in complete relaxation. It has a living room with double sofa bed, double bedroom, bathroom with shower, kitchenette, furnished veranda. Among the pluses: air conditioning, mosquito nets, outdoor shower, stone barbecue for delicious grills, private parking space, n. 2 bikes available to guests. Ideal for couples or small families and in general for lovers of relaxing holidays in direct contact with nature. (ideal occupation 2/3 people). An absolute delight!
We stayed a week at Anna's place and it was absolutely fantastic! The house has everything you need and the view over the sea is just stunning! You are just 5 mins away from S.M Leuca, a lovely town to visit. All in all, he has a wonderful time and will certainly come back!

What a beautiful place!
I'm so glad we chose this beautiful house to stay in Puglia. Our hosts were amazing, Anna and Alfio. Nothing was too much trouble for them and the place was really clean. The private garden is huge and the view of the Adriatic Sea is stunning. San Marco Di Leuca was a special little town and we loved the boat trip and the restaurants there. It is a long drive to anywhere else in Puglia, just to let you know.

Beautiful outside area/views/trees and plants. Definitely a place where you will want to spend most of your time outdoors! Appreciated this even more after seeing other properties where gardens were sparse. It felt very private (although there is a property next door - not sure whether this is in use). We spent a lot of time at the property and I found the outdoor chairs uncomfortable towards the end of the stay. Mid-may was cooler and much more windy than I expected.

A little bit of heaven…
When I booked this property, I thought it looked pretty amazing in the photos but when we got there, my husband and I were absolutely wowed by the gorgeous location and the beauty of this place, inside and out. Our hosts, Anna and Alfio provided everything we needed for a fantastic vacation in southern Puglia and were so welcoming and gracious. I was able to cook in the kitchen and we loved eating outside where it was always blissfully quiet. The bed was very comfortable and we appreciated the AC. The bathroom was spotlessly clean and large enough for us with plenty of storage. Everything absolutely exceeded all our expectations and we certainly hope to come back again someday.

Clean, cozy with many outdoor rooms and spaces to relax and explore
After weeks of researching places all over Puglia, I chose this property for the spaciousness outdoors with a closeup view of the sea. Maria and Alfie were dedicated hosts to make certain I had an enjoyable stay. I discovered about 15 species of birds on my Merlin app. I even spotted the Hoopoe bird long enough to identify it. I found flying into Bari totally doable for my flight in and out of Gagliano de Capo. There are many touristy things to do, yet I’d likely skip those things in favor of staying on the property and visiting the many incredibly gorgeous azure beaches. The color of the sea in this area is beyond my experience . The house is small yet comfortable, especially the bed and special pillows which made for great sleeping. I easily managed without a washing machine. I believe the outdoor area was even more expansive and beautiful than the photos portrayed. I really enjoyed my stay and would love to return.

Wonderful Pajari along the coast
We loved the charming stone house (pajari) that has been in Anna's family for four generations. A modern remodel makes the place a wonderful gem. The house covered all our basic needs with a well equipped kitchen, great bathroom and living area. The bedroom is a good size but the mattress was too firm for our liking. We loved the large terrace and were treated to the powerful Sirrocco winds as we relaxed and watched the ocean waves. The yard is massive with many dry stacked walls and if you were staying for a week I would have a dinner or two down in the yard protected by the wind. We liked the privacy and quietness of the property and the closed off highway was like having a private road that went for 15 km. Great for biking. We appreciated Anna's husband showing us the local supermarket that was well stocked and we enjoyed several meals cooked at the house. I would love to come back again in the future as the area is wonderful.

The jaw-dropping view is just the beginning if this very dpecial property. Plenty of room for two people. Beautiful property and gardens. Lovely, accomodating hosts. Fascinating area to explore and not overrun with tourists. We wished we could have stayed longer.

Very clean and nice small villa. Perfect place for two adults who don’t want to party all night long anymore. View to the seaside is wonderful. Hosts Anna and Alfio are exceptional frendly and warm. Ein traumhafter Ausblick aufs Meer
Das Ferienhaus liegt wunderschön an der Küste des ionischen Meeres in der Region Salento In Süditalien/ Apulien. Der Ausblick von der Terrasse des Hauses ist wirklich atemberaubend schön. Das Haus ist mit Klimaanlage, Badezimmer sowie Schlaf- und Wohnzimmer ausgestattet. Direkt am Haus ist ein separater Eingang zur Küche. Man hat dort alles was man braucht. Auf der Terrasse sind zwei Sonnenliegen, eine Tisch mit Stühlen, sowie eine weitere Sitzgarnitur vorhanden. Besonders toll ist ist die Außendusche, die bei heißen Tagen als super Abkühlung genutzt werden kann. Die Kommunikation mit Anna, der Vermieterin war jederzeit möglich und völlig unkompliziert. Wir waren rundum zufrieden!!!

Ansprechendes kleines Ferienhäuschen in wunderschönem Naturgarten mit phantastischen Ausblick auf das Meer. Ruhige Lage, dennoch gute Einkaufsmöglichkeiten in der Nähe. Freundliche Vermieterin. Für einen entspannten Urlaub sehr empfehlenswert.

Lovely holiday home, very helpful hosts and stunning view
A lovely property, which more than met our expectations. After our week's stay we felt very relaxed. We found some great fish to buy to cook and also eat in local restaurants. The hosts were great when responding to questions on WhatsApp and Alfio told us some great stories in a mixture of Italian and a little English.

Déçus du surcout clim
la location était correcte, nous avons été bien accueilli à l'arrivée. les relations étaient convenables avec le propriétaire. Par contre nous sommes très contrariés car nous avons loué ce logement avec une clim de comprise dans les équipements. En cours de séjour nous avons reçu un SMS du propriétaire(Anna) nous indiquant que l'utilisation de la clim coutait 70€ par semaine. De ce fait nous avons utilisé la clim uniquement la première semaine de notre séjour; ceci est fort désagréable et malhonnête. Si la clim fait partie des équipements c'est bien évidemment pour l'utiliser sinon il faut la mettre hors d'usage et ne pas indiquer dans l'annonce et le descriptif que le logement est équipé d'une clim. nous sommes déçus de ce point et mettons en garde les futures locataires

Die Gastgeber sind sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Der Platz, das Haus sind mitten in der Natur, mit Olivenbäumen und einer kleinen Pineta. Es sind mehrere Sitzmöglichkeiten bzw. Terrassen vorhanden. Die Aussicht auf das Meer ist sehr schön! Sehr genossen haben wir die Aussendusche! Leider gibt ab dem frühen Abend sehr viele Mücken. 1 Punkt Abzug, - da für die vorhandene Klimaanlage extra Geld (70€) verlangt wird. - in der Küche es kein warmes Wasser zum Spülen gibt (haben wir mit dem Wasserkocher gelöst) - kein W-Lan

Klasse Möglichkeit um Apulien/Salento zu erleben.
Die Wohnung war wie beschrieben, die Kommunikation mit dem Vermieter top. Die Aussicht ist spitze. Hier kann man die Seele baumeln lassen, oder auf Entdeckungsreise gehen.
