"All good! Would suggest to the owner that the TV have more options. I am not a TV watcher, but I did want to catch up on the news and found that difficult. Maybe an antenna would help if there are local channels that can be received. Other than that, I would suggest a shade on the front door to provide more privacy. Other than that, I would highly highly recommend this place as it was quiet and comfortable in a good location and clean and convenient and well appointed"

"Moreno's Cottages are a pleasant series of little cabins between Lake Placid and Saranac Lake. My brother and I stayed in #7. There were two twin beds, a nook and a small, separate kitchen area. "We stayed at the”Blackhaus” January 19-23. The house was perfect for our 3 teenage boys and my wife and I. It is a bit off the road which offers serenity and peace. The house is well appointed and met all of our needs. It is located just about 8 minutes from whiteface ski resort and about 22 minutes to lake placid. I Will definitely stay here again. "

"This is a tiny bare bones cabin. Hardly room for a couple. No stove or place to cook. There was microwave and sink. The bed was large but mattress sagged in middle. The drawers were hard to open and close. No one on premises to greet you; access entirely on internet, but internet and phone connection spotty. I just happened to pick this place after a long day of hiking and traveling, only to discover how nice it was after. Clean cabins with wonderful owners. Close to everything in the nearby towns, but feels like you’re deep in the woods for a retreat. 10/10. "
