"We've vacationed for years in the ADKs and have rented many places for our stays as a result. The Cabin at Peace Ridge is by far the best we've ever enjoyed. The cabin is so beautiful, comfortable, spacious and has everything we needed for an enjoyable week in "our mountains." The kitchen is well-supplied with even a few spices in the cabinets. The appliances are modern and the stove/oven is a dream! Loved the griddle in the middle! Livingroom, bedrooms, dining areas are so comfortable,...

"We came to Saranac Lake to check out the Adirondacks. It is a beautiful area. The Cabin is great for kicking back and soaking in the surroundings. We brought a boat with fishing in mind. Not such a good idea. Oh! the cabin advertisement indicated that it was "Blue" . Well, that's only half true. Like I said, we brought a boat so we could leave from the Cabin and fish. But, if one arrives at the cabin by water, it is brown, not blue. It rains on us for 3 days, but we still hadfun."

"Went with my husband and dogs. The place is big and spacious close to lake placid and also secluded in the woods. We have a nice relaxing vacation."

"The cottage is a lovely Adirondack cabin, which doesn’t disappoint. Its location to Upper Saranac lake is ideal, with the use of 2 kayaks to enjoy. I had the impression that the cabin was directly on the lake from the pictures on the rental, but was mistaken. I should have read the property description more carefully. The cabin is within very close proximity to the other camps. "

"We had a wonderful stay at Blackhaus. The property is in a beautiful setting and has amazing ammenities! We loved that we were close to Whiteface Mountain to enjoy the surrounding mountain scenery and trails. Andrew is a great host that truly cares that guests enjoy their stay! We highly recommend Blackhaus with its exceptional location and modern design and decor."

"The house was a little smaller than I expected but easily accommodated all 8 of us. Everything we needed was there and house rules/instructions were clear. I gave 4 stars because the shower handle in the master broke the second day. The owner clearly stated that it was difficult and I guess it finally broke. We managed with all of us just more shower planning. All in all it was a nice place to stay. "

"I was impressed with the whole process, communication with the guest, location and clean place with everything one needs to just relax. The fact that it was pet friendly made things better. I gave this place a Five Star plus rating. I definitely will be back for more R&R."

"Critter Cabin is everything we want in a vacation cabin. This cabin is authentic with every thing we need. Very cozy, clean, quiet. Wonderful views of Mt. View Lake. All the needed amenities for outdoor activities plus great wi-fi. Such peace and quiet. A perfect place for us and our two dogs. Thank you so much Doug for letting us stay here all these years. "
