"This is the best place that ever stay not only in England but UK. Clean, qyeut and everything in good condition. Close to coast and 13 min walk or you can catch bus (bus stop 1 min away) to centre. Small fridge was provided which helps if you want to keep some fruits or jogurt. Everything thing worked perfectly. Shower, TV, kettle. Found nice book with all informations that I needed for my stay but also few recommended restaurants and places to see. Highly recommend to stay. Thank you. "

"Perfect little hotel for a coastal getaway. The room was cosy but ideal for a short break. The staff were so friendly and welcoming and the place was spotless. Perfect location in the quieter end of town, but within really easy walking distance to the busy bits. Gorgeous views around the corner overlooking the town, and there's the cliff lift right nearby for the journey back up the hill if you need it."

"It is a period property with friendly & welcoming hosts. The full English breakfast is cooked to order from local produce. Which is amazing. Perfect to stay and relax and enjoy Scarborough harbour and beach. "

"I was informed about being on the 4th floor in advance of my stay, which was not a problem. However, the stairway is steep and has many doors to pass through. The room itself is compromised for height by being in the eaves but not a problem for a solo traveller. Would be a different review if I had been offered this"luxury" double room as a couple"

Host was very friendly and helpful with local information and advice. Lots to see, many good eateries, and good local transport if you wish to get out along the coast."
