"Truly one of the finest hotels I have ever stayed in. Should be rated five stars. The facilities were elegant and spotless. The onsen was large and clean with two private baths which could be used on a first come first served basis. The hotel offered a lot of freebies such as popsicles, non alcoholic drinks, and even late night ramen. We had two meals included in the price, a dinner and a breakfast the next morning. The meals were elaborate and beautifully presented. A quick shout out to our waitress from Taiwan, Judy who provided impeccable service."

"Very conveniently located near the Takayama train station. Great hot-spring baths and 3 private baths for those who are not used to a shared environment. Very walkable city with lots of great restaurants within 10 minutes walking distance. The historical part of the city is only 10-15 minutes of walking distance. Buffet breakfast was delicious but would recommend exploring local restaurants that serves breakfast as well."

"The hotel is absolutely beautiful and very convenient as we could walk less than five minutes from the train station. The staff were exceptional and very helpful. The hotel is beautiful inside and the huge bonus is that they also have a onsen which was welcoming at the end of each day. Breakfast was delicious and you could rent a motorized assisted bicycle for ¥500 for an hour or ¥1000 for three hours… it was amazing to do this and explore the city on the bikes. A big thank you to all the staff."
