"This hotel is an amazing place with a world class Botanical Garden attached and beautiful thermal baths throughout, guests have 24 hour access to both. They have an indoor pool steam and dry sauna. The staff is very well trained and for the most part local. Everything for the client! The restaurant is 4 star and the breakfast extensive and delicious. We came to have lunch 6 months ago and vowed to come stay the next time we flew to Portugal. Well worth the trip and it will not be our last. "

"Great location just on the edge of town. Walkable to the town of Furnas. Very clean room. Take note that you are provided the ingredients to cook your breakfast, as there is no dining or room service. It is a very small, intimate style hotel. "

"This was a magical stay. What a surprise to learn that this stay gains access to a sixth generation adjacent garden (easily 3 acres in area) not available to the public and easily comparable in beauty to the Terra Nostra gardens. Imagine sitting under vast 200 year old trees listening to nothing but birdsong and the beautiful river running through the property whilst inhaling the subtle fragrance of azaleas and clean air. And having this to yourself! The houses themselves were brilliantly...

"The host and welcome gift were exceptional! The home was a nice, traditional family home and had a beautiful yard and was a short walk to everything in Furnas. We were there in March, and it was very cold and windy the day we arrived. We were able to move some space heaters around to get things warm. The space was larger than we needed for my two kids and I, and it would be perfect for smaller group like us or larger family. Thanks for a great stay!"

"Simple, but nice, clean, modern style. Well located for a lower cost visit to Furnas. Has a common kitchenette that with fridge, coffe maker, utensils and such, and a cute little market steps away, along with the delicious water of the tres bicas fountain, provide low cost food options. The restaurant downstairs is also very good. "
