"This property was just as quiet and close to nature as we had hoped. Even with a music festival running for three days 2 km up the road, we heard nothing, the tiny house being in a deep dip. We had a beautiful deer and small black bear visit over the course of our stay. There is a viewing platform level with the tops of the fir trees up the steep hillside. "Overall we liked our stay in Aladar's Cabin. It was spacious, clean and conveniently located. However, a few things could be improved. 1) We couldn't park our car in the car port for uncertain reasons because owner blocked it with traffic cones. As a result we had to clean our car from snow every day. Not sure why parking under the roof was not allowed!? 2) The kitchen doesn't have a regular stove, just a small cheap electric burner which was not heating very well. 3) The floors were pretty...

"Amazing hosts! The cabin is situated on a beautiful piece of property set among the idyllic countryside of Castlegar. An easy commute to town and beautiful attractions within the area. We enjoyed our morning coffees on the front porch listening to the everfesscent sounds of spring, an onithologists dream. Evening visits of statueseque elk that grazed upon the fauna. "If you’re going to be golfing at Redstone you can’t get any better than this. Located right on the first tee box you can walk out to your tee time and strut back after your perfect round without having to drive anywhere. Nothing fancy but has the essentials. Perfect for our group of 4 and will definitely be coming back. "
