"This is a perfect holiday location....the apartment has everything you need & was spotlessly clean. Gengenbach is probably the prettiest town we saw in the Black Forest & a fantastic base to explore the region. We stayed 11 nights & used the train on the Konus card scheme every day bar 1.....great for taking the stress away & having a German beer or 2! Anja was fantastic in welcoming us & giving lots of tips on where to eat etc....she was always at the end of the phone if we had a question....

"The house is in an excellent location, quiet and yet close to attractions of the black forest. The landlady was very nice. The kitchen is very well equiped, with all you need for cooking and eating your meals at home. There's also a washing machine, that's very helpful if you're traveling for a long time. "We stayed a week in this lovely cottage. I cannot praise it enough. The location is fantastic in a lovely quiet little village close to good amenities in nearby Benfeld. It is great for exploring Colmar, Strasbourg, Alsace and the Black Forest. The cottage is comfortable and very well equipped with everything we needed. "Terrasse envahie par les mauvaises herbes, 2 des chambres en mezzanine qui donnent sur la cuisine et le salon sans aucune aeration donc irrespirables quand il fait chaud, pas de détecteur de fumée, équipement de base non présent ( passoire, planche à découper...).
