"We rented this property out of season and didn’t not really know what to expect. Never been to this area of France before. We live in France and can only take holidays out of season due to our business commitments. Our shot in the dark worked for us and the whole package worked. Simon the host was professional in his approach although understated. We would return in a heartbeat."

"The villa is lovely, however I feel I should mention a couple of small things. The pool no longer has the same view as depicted in the advert. A house has been built in front so the owners have planted in front of pool to mask the new property. The villa has lots of steps, it is over 3 floors and also steps to get to front entrance, these were ok for us but anyone with mobility problems would struggle, the steps are also tiled. It is also a little isolated where the villa is so a car is a must....

"We were a large family group and wanted some extra space. The catal is amazing with outdoor space, kitchen, antique furnishings, comfortable beds. It felt like living in a piece of history. Kids and adults lived it!"

"The property was lovely, however it was not the property in the photos of the villa we thought we were staying at. The villa was next door but the RHS of a pair and the one we had booked from the photo's was the LHS of the next pair so we had less sun by the pool (Gone by 2.30pm) the one we had booked had sunshine until after 5pm. "3 generations had a lovely stay. The views are amazing and the house is very well equipped for a large group. We loved the seating areas outside and inside the house and the bedrooms were comfortable with a/c. The drive to the house is challenging - a single track road for 2-way traffic with sheer drops on one side (some passing places). I was happy that others were driving! The path to the town beach was steep at the end so the older generation found this difficult. You need to be fit and have...

"Saint-Lary is a wonderful location, a lively vibrant town set in the picturesque Pyrenees mountains. Truly stunning! The residence is dated slightly and so could benefit from a bit of a refresh, and the staff were a little "cold" in terms of service but professional and helpful enough; although the reception hours were limited."
