"A nice modern hotel well placed for the old town. Staff were helpful and attentive. It lacks anywhere to get a beverage and snack during the day. I arrived at about 9pm and ate in the bar area where I paid over the odds for a very small portion of reheated chilli con carne. In summary, a nice place to sleep but limited other facilities."

"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this hotel. Our room was comfortable with excellent storage - wardrobe/drawers. Dressing gowns and slippers were a nice touch. The bed was comfortable, but unfortunately the pillows were very lumpy. Most members of staff were very helpful and friendly, although a small number seemed quite grumpy and preoccupied. "What a wonderful stay. The hotel is conviniently located about 3 to 5 minutes walk from the main train station but far away enough that its quiet. Is it very near the altstadt, another 5 minutes walk. The staff were friendly and helpful and the breakfast was decent. The room is very clean and cozy and the bed was most comfortable. Honestly if I do come to freiburg again, I'd definitely stay with post hotel freiburg once more. "
