"Place was roomy, and pretty clean. But, there was not regular linen service(change of sheets or bed making/turning). Beach sand was fluffy and amazing. Staff were very friendly and attentive. They do need to update the shuffleboard. Pucks were broke and mismatched. And the poles were broke from wear and tear. But, we made it work.😃 Ping pong table and equipment were excellent (better than was shown on website). We had a great time, and recommend for a relaxing vacation.👍"

"Most of Grand Lucayan is closed from hurricane Mathew but you don't know this until you arrive. All guests have to stay at Lighthouse point which is nice but with not nearly as many amenities. 2 less pools , less convenient dining options, the Casino never reopened. Some of the staff, outdoor bar. Towel hut, seemed to have lost that happy, helpful, attitude, one bartender was even rude everyday. While others were their usual respectful, helpful Bahamian spirit They hours of restaurants...

"The hotel staff are wonderful but the cleanliness of the room is lacking. However, the rooms are big and have everything you need to stay for awhile. The pool area is very nice and the beach is just across the street. You are about 15-20 minutes from Lucaya Market."

"I really wish it was a better experience. The rooms were not up to par. We had to switch rooms 2 times because of issues. First room the shower didn’t work. Second room the ac was broken. Third room didn’t even lock properly or have a working bathtub but we decided twice was enough and we would just take our chances. The front desk totally screwed up my reservation and charged me twice. I still have not been refunded but hopefully will in the near future. Otherwise Harold’s wonderful smile kept...

"The hotel location was great the amenities were very good. The front desk had me try two seperate keys and had to call maintenance. The room maintenance not so good. The grab bar in the showe was loose and came outseveral times. The whole water knoband spot moved when turned on, the drai was cloggedwith hair from previous guests, and the kitchenette light did not work. Theroom was cozy and looking over the mari a was great.the staff extremely friendly. I The hotel could use an upgrade but still...
