"Richard was the ultimate host. Responsive and accommodating. There was a last minute issue with the original unit we reserved and Richard notified us ASAP with a detailed explanation. He then proceeded to move us to the other unit without even asking, which had amazing views of Cranmore mountain. The unit was clean, quiet and in an excellent, centralized location to skiing, shopping and restaurants. We were very pleased with our stay and will be looking into booking again for next year’s trip."

Plenty of space for our group with 5 adults, 2 kids and 2 dogs. So easy to get over to Cranmore for skiing. Kids loved the pac man game. And plenty of other board games to keep them entertained. "

"The home is wonderful and airy. Plenty of space for people to relax and enjoy. The huge screened porch is a standout, as is the short walk to the beach. Highly recommended!"

"3 families enjoyed our stay at the Tree House! The lay out of the house made it very comfortable for our families to have privacy and plenty of space, while still joining together for meals, games, etc. The kitchen was well stocked. My only suggestion would be to upgrade the pans, etc. We skied and went tubing at Gunstock Mountain. We also went to the Ice Castles in North Woodstock. Wonderful Feb. break...we would recommend this house."

"Everything as-advertised, and great communications with the host. The location is a short drive from Cranmore, Black, Wildcat, Storyland, etc., and is in a quiet area with no nighttime shenanigans, which was appreciated after a long day skiing. Check in and check out were easy, and the overall experience was excellent. If you've got a larger group/family, rent both units!"

"A great time was had by our three generations at our Christmas to New Year’s rental week 2024. While we have rented in North Conway each December, this was our first time in the same house for back-to-back years! We had ages from 2 to 64 in our 3 generations and everyone had a great time. The house was clean and well provisioned. We had plenty of room for our 3 couples and 3 children under age 6. The beds were comfy and we especially loved the gas fireplace for heat and ambiance. "Very clean and well organized. Comfortable beds. Kids loved all the board games.Only complaint is that the heating system is very close to two of the bedrooms so was loud and inconsistent at night. This is definitely priced into the rent because the place was very reasonably priced."

"The view was great. It was quiet and is a terrific location for traveling the area for hiking and leaf viewing. The place is like a rustic lake cabin. Dont expect modern finishes or furniture. Clean overall but some carpet stains. Really think they should tell you on the listing that you have to provide your own sheets and towels. I happened to see someone mention it in a review and checked with the owner ahead of our stay. Would hate to arrive after long journey and not have them."

"We booked a weekend getaway and our stay was very pleasant. It was an older cottage and some updating is needed but it had a very cozy feel. The fire pit and listening to the choppy water was very relaxing. The highlight of the trip was the views. Omg was it so breathtaking. Would definitely book again. "
