"This historic hotel is beautiful, from the moment you enter the main lobby, to the dark wood staircases, to the elegant rooms. Spent a good half hour just exploring the place for fun. The rooms were very comfortable, with charming details such as chocolates and a hotel produced newspaper providing information. Super cool underground bar reminiscent of a speakeasy. Corner lounge serves food until midnight in case of late night hunger. Would definitely stay here again."

"I stayed here for almost a week after fleeing an unsafe situation with a roommate. The staff members were nice, friendly, understa ding. I had to do an early check in and late checkout. The room was amazing. Pretty clean (found a piece of food on the rug near the window). Otherwise, everything else appeared clean and well-kept. My only real complaint was the neighbors playing tv too loud after 10 pm (until 1 am) and again at 6:30 am. So, the walls are pretty thin. This was a great room, though. I felt safe in the neighborhood. The property and side doors were well-lit. My room was away from street traffic, so I didn't have highway noise keeping me awake. All in all this was a great place to stay and I will likely stay here when I'm back in town in 2 1/2 weeks. "
