"This hotel is a fantastic base for a visit to the wine region. The hotel is a short drive from Franschhoek with the hotel providing an excellent shuttle bus service. The staff could not be any more friendly or obliging if they tried and we really felt at home here. The only gripe is that the pool beds are not that comfortable but otherwise this a hotel I would highly recommend and will definitely stay there again."

"Our 4th stay at this outstanding guest house! Beautiful rooms, lovely breakfast, beautiful gardens. What makes this place special though is the people. Karloff, Juvelie and Jamie-Lee were incredible together with Justin. My husband was taken seriously ill as we arrived and eventually had to be hospitalised. They looked after me as a family would. They went well beyond the call of duty and checked up on me constantly We will hopefully be returning when my husband is better. The nicest place in...

I just don't think the place is worth the price, and I can't understand why they would advertise this as a 5 star property.
