"Very hard to find, then when you finally get there it’s not marked—looks like a house, and then they send you to another location. And finally, when we got to our room, we were told the water would be shut off from 10-4am., but they would provide a gallon of water. But they didn’t bring the water and the waiter was shut off before 10. Then they finally brought some water. The room had lots of closet space and bathroom had a lot of places to set things. The shower was cold only."

"The pictures on the website are misleading. The hotel rooms look nothing like the pictures. The towels were very dingy looking and very old. The bedding looked like it had been washed by putting it in a sink. The shower had grime in the corners and where you had to stand. there was no shower curtain so when you showered the bathroom floor would be a giant puddle when you were done. "I stayed in the apartments leased by the hotel; and while the apartment was clean and the staff friendly, it is not a typical hotel stay. I found the environment pleasing and in a good location around Universidad de Costa Rica. If you are looking for a traditional hotel, the apartments at this hotel are not your best option. "This property was amazing , beautiful setup . Street that it was on was very empty not much traffic. Police do casual just stroll pass but it makes you feel really safe!!! Only downside is reception doesn’t speak English , they are very kind but you will need translation app if you or your group doesn’t speak Spanish. You do need reservation for jacuzzi but that can be booked downstairs in lobby. I would definitely stay again"
