"Location was perfect, being next to the park. The room was very good and the breakfast was excellent. The only thing that could have made it better was to have a ground floor room, because we found the stairs difficult, having a dog."

"The hotel was clean and staff friendly. Breakfast was tasty but not much choice. A selection of cereals and prepacked cakes etc. and waitress came and offered a full English. My friend had to ask for something different. No menu. Only white toast was brought and one pot of coffee. No-one came out of the kitchen again to see if we wanted more. It woud be nice for a little more service in the restaurant. Food was well cooked."

"Beautiful bed and breakfast tucked away in the beautiful countryside. Staff was friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was delicious. Room was spacious, clean, and quiet. Highly recommend for a peaceful getaway to the country. "

"Beautiful pub and room was decorated really comfortably. Bathroom was also decorated really well although a bit tired and the aircon unit outside the window was rattling away, couldn’t close the window to block the noise as it had been jammed open. Breakfast service was poor, waited 20 minutes before getting given a menu and then gave up waiting after that"

"This place in my opinion is simply perfect . A little gem and the loveliest most friendly and super helpful staff. I stay in a lot of hotels and I enjoyed my experience here way more than any hotel I ever stayed in! Will definitely be back and will recommend to anyone visiting the area. "

"The rooms are very nice, and the food in the pub was excellent. The only negatives were that the only breakfast available mid week was some pastries, which I must have missed on booking, and with the shower on hot, it was tepid and the bed was a little soft for me. Overall. Very good though."

"A lovely 2 day break at the lakes, so peaceful and relaxing. Spa is great too and we pretty much had it to ourselves most of the time. Food in the tipi was also great, would have liked to have seen some more sweet breakfast and healthy options though. It would also be great if there was an on-site shop to buy any groceries/essentials to save having to drive elsewhere."

"Bedrooms lovely but tight around beds. but en-suites quite roomy. So easy for different groups to do different things in the huge barn dinning/kitchen/lounge. Our 4 and 6 aged grand sons loved the space and outdoors games. Trampoline, football, table tennis etc. Google the grinding barn for easy location guidance as 3 of our 4 cars struggled with the given directions."
