"I was really reluctant after reading all the bad reviews but I booked it anyway because I wanted a big pool area. Well I was pleasantly surprised. It was no where near as bad as the reviews made it sound. It definitely had one of the beach areas. The pool was large. Yes it is very dated but a lot of hotels in Barbados are. The jacuzzi did not work and I wish I had known that before I booked it. They gave me a credit but I was charged so taxes they stated were shown on Expedia. The location of the hotel was perfect walking distance to the (less then 1.5m) Gap nightlife. Lots of restaurants even closer."

"We’ve stayed at the Radisson Aquatica many times and although the rooms are dated, they are clean, the staff are so friendly & helpful which makes ys go back each year. Staff are constantly cleaning throughout the hotel. It’s on one of the best beaches on the island & is walkable to food vans & other eateries. We’ll be back again this year! "

"Our stay at the resort was excellent. The check in process was a little slow, but from here on forward everything else went smoothly. Very friendly and attentive staff. The rooms and beds are comfortable. We had a swell anniversary weekend and we would surely recommend this stay. "

"Clean hotel, with friendly attentive staff. Great breakfast. Good location with bus stops nearby. Walking distance to George Washington House and Lanterns Mall for dining options. Convenient to travel to St Lawrence Gap and the airport. "

"A lovely hotel in the centre of Holetown ideal location with options to explore the island. Very friendly staff nothing was too much trouble. Damian who served beach food and drinks is a star - always upbeat and entertaining an asset to the hotel. The restaurant staff were lovely also. Food very good and entertainment most evenings. Beautiful beach with watersports."

"Hotel is set in beautiful well kept grounds. Staff are friendly and attentive, rooms are cleaned daily to a high standard. Good breakfast daily meals generally good, with excellent table service even if food service is a little slow. Pool area is lovely and pool bar service good with a good choice of drinks available. Only issue was water temperature in room could’ve been warmer and more pressure to shower, this was also noted by housekeeping. Would stay again and recommend to anyone wanting a peaceful relaxing holiday."

"Staff and service are very friendly. We were traveling with older teenagers and we always felt safe with letting them walk around the resort. We had an issue with our toilet and they came to fix it and thought that was that. An hour later I received a text that they would just like to replace it (that day)! We had very few issues but if we did it was addressed and resolved very quickly! Beach is beautiful and easy to access. A couple improvements would be the beach bar, The Grove. They are VERY busy and it seems to me there has to be a better way to run it. From ordering to paying. The food takes forever to get. HOWEVER, they are friendly and tell you it's going to be a while. I think the place is just too small for the amount of people they are servicing (though we were there on probably one of the busiest weeks of the year). Another improvement would be the mattress on the pullout couch. We used it every night and though we managed, it really needs to be replaced. Going out of the country always has its challenges and differences than being in the United States. But you know that going into it. Truly not a hard price to pay for the beauty of the island you came for!"
