"The restaurant is great—delicious food and a breakfast buffet with plenty of options to kick-start your morning. The staff? Friendly. But there's an interesting duality to this place: you've got the Ibis side and the Mercure side. I never ventured over to the Mercure part, but it seemed to attract a lively professional crowd as well as some older guests. I wouldn't be surprised if that was their main bread and butter. Meanwhile, the Ibis side—where we stayed—had this trendy ghost town vibe....

"Bâtisse ancestrale magnifique mais malheureusement les prestations et le service manquent de perfection pour un 5 étoiles et le prix demandé : attente au bar de 45 mn sans être servies, salle de bain très sommaire, madeleines signature en vente à 12 euros plutôt qu’être données, pas de voiturier, de as d’aide pour les valises, pas d’accompagnement à la chambre. "

"Overall it was fine. When I first saw it on the river I thought that would be cool. But it is behind the highway. Not so cool. Parking garage was a wee bit tight getting into and out of but it was nice having parking! We still walked everywhere. Nice town. This location would probably be nicer in the summer with activities on the warf"

"The room was really nice, confortable and clean. Location is excellent, by the river front and within walking distance of the city's historical centre. Car park is secure but very tight. "

"Location was perfect, where was center of Honfluer. Staff also were so kind and all conditions seemed to be perfect, although space of hotel itself was not big. I would like to stay here again."

"Had an enjoyable stay here. The restaurant was very good and also the bar snacks. Lovely pool although crowded when we visited in November. Very close to the port so perfect for an overnight stay before the early morning ferry. Would stay again."

"Great location. Convenient parking , if abit tight for a ford galaxy. Lovely staff. Food in restaurant very good. Only one poor chap trying to do everything so long waits, but he was working very hard!!"

"Staff were excellent, a conference had just finished as we arrived and it would have been been easy to have overlooked new arrivals but the staff were excellent and ensured we were looked after well. The restaurant on site was good and offered reasonable food, bar had great selection and room enabled a good nights sleep comfortable bed. "

"Lovely hotel. It’s very nice that they have a complimentary shuttle into town and a symbiotic relationship with their sister property in town, Le Normandy. Be sure to check out live piano music there on the weekend. Beware that they don’t speak any English at this property, which I found surprising for a four star. "

"Although near the beach, the hotel is not on the beach, as it appears in the photos. Rooms are renovated but very simple, smelly toilet area and shower-head that sprayed on the ceiling. Not a bad stay, but definitely not a 4-star hotel, 3-star at best. Not worth the price, unfortunately. "
