"Very friendly and accommodating, great location, good food. There is always music in the bar, sometimes live but we heard no noise in our room, it was very quiet and comfortable. Would definitely stay there again."

"We had a fantastic stay at this beautiful, clean, comfortable and characterful BnB, in a great location an easy 10 minute walk to the centre of town. Warm and friendly customer service. Comfy beds, great bath tub, supermarket just a few houses up the road. We were only disappointed there was no breakfast service during our stay as the previous breakfast reviews were fab! "Purple Mountain house is a spacious, recently renovated - to a high spec - house. The bedrooms are roomy with very comfortable beds and bathrooms are big too. The kitchen is has all new appliances and is very well stocked with plenty of crockery, pots and pans etc. Welcome pack of milk, bread etc. was much appreciated. We really enjoyed our stay here."

"This property was perfect! We were a group of 5, so we utilized the apart hotel. It was spacious and clean, allowed us to have communal space and private sleeping. Dining at the restaurant was fantastic. Jason was our server and he was amazing. Food was great, only a short 10 min walk to the Muckross Abbey and a breath taking lake. Hotel views bolstered mountains in the morning. Wonderful staff, we did not have time to utilize the spa but it looked beautiful. "

"This hotel is absolutely stunning! The staff was so friendly and welcoming and made us feel so special. We had dinner at Monks and it was so delicious! We were able to walk to Muckross which was super convenient and the scenery around the hotel was wonderful. We will absolutely stay here again!"
