"House was cute and decorated great. Ft Worth isnt made for pedestrians. There is not a sidewalk to walk to the stockyard area but it is walkable. Probably a 30 minute walk. The host was awesome, good communication. Would recommend "

"This place fit our needs perfectly. The large room with 4 beds worked particularly well for my son, his wife and 2yr and 4yr olds. It gave them a great getaway for separate playtime, nap time and cartoon watching while the adults were deep into football games. Everyone enjoyed the backyard mini-golf and corn hole game. "Spent a week in Fort Worth for the NCHA Metallic Cat Futurity. The blackhouse was the perfect place for us to stay for our visit. Clean, comfortable, all the amenities and the perfect location. 10 out of 10 highly recommend! "

"We liked the location, several restaurants and bars within walking distance. We hoped to take bikes but there was rarely any at the docks. We wanted to drop bags off early because we had an early flight but it was $85. Bummer. We had 3 people luckily because that’s all it slept. The sofa couch is broken, this was reported months ago and never fixed. There’s no patio furniture on rooftop. And they only provide 4 towels. The upstairs temps were very hot and hard to sleep. "The property itself was nice. However we chose to not stay here due to it being in a very bad location of town. The crime rate here is very high according to FWPD. Homeless people everywhere. We did not feel it was a safe environment for us to be in or our vehicles. The host told me it was an up and coming neighborhood, however there is nothing up and coming about it at all. Please beware of location prior to booking. "
