"Soooo the motel is in the middle of reconstruction. The rooms are great, modern, big, comfortable beds, lovely floors in bathroom, good amenities. Microwave, fridge coffeemaker, big tv. The other parts of motel are being remodeled. I did not like being asked how long i was going to wait for my brother in the lounge because “ it wasn’t for sitting around) or something to the effect, when i had been there 35 minutes. Extremely rude and very inhospitable "

A surprising lacking amenity was shampoo/conditioner, so take your own -- this is a budget hotel, quaint (decked out for the season) and sufficient. "Did not stay once we saw the property......rooms and property very dirty, not maintained, management not available when we got there. Were charged the whole price since their policy is 24 hr advance notice. Photo online is NOT what we observed. I would never recommend this place to anyone. EXTREMELY disappointed. We were on our bikes and had to ride another 10 miles before we found another place to stay."

"We always wanted to visit the Baseball Hall of Fame - the cottage is a short ride and very close to Cooperstown so ideal location for us. Scott and his friendly pup Shoog greeted us, and Scott was very helpful and responsive to our questions. The cottage was very clean and comfortable, and the nearby restaurants were terrific. We had a very nice stay and enjoyed beautiful weather and fall colors!"
