"Dreadful steep, uneven road to get to property with nowhere to park outside property - the offer was to park in the road at the bottom of hill! However, gite itself was wonderful- clean, tidy & every convenience. However had it been made clear about the steep narrow road & no parking, we would not have chosen this property. Definitely no good if you have mobility issues, fine if you don't! We also expected a 'sea view' - definitely not from the property! All in all, rather misleading but a...

"Had a really lovely stay in your beautiful holiday home. Gorgeous and relaxing surroundings and couldn’t have asked for more in the house itself. Extremely clean, modern and fully stocked with everything we needed i really loved the little extras like the yummy cakes & drinks on arrival. Christine was a wonderful and super friendly host, greeting us as we arrived and gave a very good tour of the house. We have thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Boulleville and would love to return in the future. "

"Location is good, a very peaceful rural area, but close to the main roads. Property was ok, but somewhat shabby. Level of cleanliness was not very high. WiFi was broken and could not be fixed. We were charged an extra €60 for bedding, which was not mentioned in the listing. Towels were not provided so it's a good thing we brought our own."

"The location is on the edge of a quiet village and with only subtle sounds of frogs from the pond and whinnies from the horse it was bliss. This was our 2nd stay and would love to come back again. Transport is required to access local shops but the ride out is so lovely it isnt a worry. We stayed for the 80th anniversary of D-Day and found it a good base to stay for the events. "We had a very pleasant stay at this quirky octagonal cottage. It is in a little hamlet up a long lane so was very quiet. The owners house was closer than it seems in the photos but she left us to ourselves unless we needed something. The lane to the Le Gibet is narrow but is one way so you don't have to worry about meeting another car going up. Entering the lane going up the hill is fine as its on the right. "My husband and I had a magical ten days in this beautiful barn conversion at the edge of a Normandy forest. It was such a lovely, peaceful place with just the sound of birdsong. We were even visited by deer in the garden. The house is well equipped, elegantly decorated and very comfortable.
