"Overall, our stay was very enjoyable! The marina is very easy to locate and very private. The cabins are cute and within a close walk to the beach. There is even a fire pit on the beach that guests are free to use with plenty of firewood nearby. Unfortunately, the cabin we stayed in had no hot water which was not ideal, but we only stayed one night so it wasn't a huge deal. We had a hard time with the Wi-Fi too but we're also in the middle of the woods so that's to be expected. Downtown...

"We had a wonderful stay in one of the cabins. It was very clean and the shuttles were a wonderful thing to have. We will definitely stay again. The only negative is the futon mattress was thin feeling and not comfortable. Not a big problem for us and probably just end of season wear."

"Myself, my husband, our daughter, son-in-law, and youngest son spent a week here at Mom's Cabin. The location was perfect. Close to stores and restaurants, but feels secluded and private. We saw the deer everyday, along with geese, ducks and a crane. The cabin was very spacious. It was well stocked. The place reminded us of our own family cabin. We all felt like kids again. "

"I’m so happy we decided to stay at this property. It was the perfect fit for our family reunion as family from FL, AL, NC, WV and DC all converged on Lake Wylie in Belmont to spend quality time together. "I had an awesome time in cabin #4! I enjoyed the gorgeous view of the lake and had fun paddleboarding from the marina steps away. Although I was in the water with a snake swimming close by, I felt safe with many visitors nearby. The staff on property were friendly and helpful. The Friday night movie was a lot of fun and the firepit felt cozy and welcoming. Thank you for a wonderful stay! "
